New York, USA, February 11th 2016 – BKOM Studios is heading for the Big Apple to attend Toy Fair 2016, one of the biggest events of the toy industry, to showcase its Toys to Life and connected objects expertise. The development and prototyping of Interactive Gaming Toy systems, which can bridge physical toys, with a user’s environment, augmented play and video games, is part of the new spaces BKOM has been exploring these last few years, in addition to its core game and web development business. The New York Toy Fair will be a tremendous opportunity for BKOM to present its skills and concepts to industry leaders eager to ignite and re-ignite their brands’ play expressions.
Enthusiasm for this type of experience has been growing for many years. According to a May 2015 report from NDP Group, 70% of parents in the U.S. are familiar with Toys-to-Life games, with two-thirds of parents (67) saying that they are extremely or very likely to purchase a new Toys-to-Life game in the next six months.
