MILWAUKIE, Ore., (Feb. 14, 2017)—Dark Horse is proud to announce the promotion of Chris Gaslin to the role of director of Product Development. He will be responsible for helping to oversee the Product Development department in project management, scheduling management, budgeting, sourcing, and new product creation.
Chris started his career at Dark Horse nearly eleven years ago as a member of the sales department. He then joined the Product Development department as a manager. Chris holds a bachelor of science in art with a focus in printmaking from Portland State University.
“As Dark Horse’s product development efforts have grown and matured over the years, so has Chris Gaslin’s skill and expertise,” said David Scroggy, vice president of Product Development. “His successful supervision of important new collectible lines like The Witcher and Halo, as well as his leadership in the management and coordination of ongoing projects such as Game of Thrones, has been a big part of what keeps Dark Horse Deluxe out in front in the marketplace. These management skills extend to the intra- and interdepartmental workings as well. Chris keeps us looking ahead, and it is rewarding to see him take this step forward.”
Chris Gaslin described his excitement for the new opportunity: “I am really excited and thankful that Mike Richardson and Dark Horse have given me this great opportunity as director of Product Development. I would also like to thank David Scroggy for the guidance and all of the knowledge that he has imparted to me over the years. I look forward to helping take Dark Horse Product Development to even greater heights going forward!”
Please join us in congratulating Chris Gaslin on his past accomplishments and wishing him luck in his new role in the company!
