JANUARY 9TH, 2017 (NEW YORK CITY) - Dream Pets, the re-imagined vintage toy collection is presenting their vibrant array of plush toys at the NYC Toy Fair on February 17th- 20th, 2018. Long time fans of the brand know that Dream Pets are truly one of a kind, and we are bringing them back to stay! Come join us and hundreds of global play professionals as we explore a record-breaking 443,000 net square feet of exhibit space filled with hundreds of thousands of toys, games and youth entertainment products. The events will run from 9 AM through 6 PM and will feature some of theses vibrant, fun plush animals!
Originally packing materials, Dream Pets have managed to make everlasting homes and captured the hearts of children around the world, with their unique personalities and huge imaginations. The original concept for Dream Pets was created by R. Dakin & Company in the mid 1950’s.
The company originally imported toys from Japan, and in a shipment of battery-operated trains the shippers used six velveteen stuffed animals as packing material.
Today, children love these cuddly soft plush companions and we continue to inspire creativity in families around the world.
