EDISON, NJ — During the 2018 New York Toy Fair at the Jacob K. Javits Convention Center in NYC being held from Saturday, February 17 to Tuesday, February 20, GUND and Enesco will be hosting events in the companies’ respective booths, GUND in #637 and Enesco in #5302, that include in-booth appearances, signings, giveaways, and more for attendees of this year’s Toy Fair.
On Saturday, February 17, starting at 9:00, GUND will be celebrating their 120th anniversary with special giveaways; the first 120 guests inside the booth will receive a free gift, while the first 120 customers to place an order will receive a chance to win a prize worth up to $1,200.
On Sunday, February 18, from 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m., GUND is throwing a birthday party for the lovable, treat-loving internet sensation, Pusheen. All attendees are invited to visit the booth and receive a free, exclusive 2018 Toy Fair Pusheen Blind Box, while supplies last.
Saturday through Monday, February 19, one of GUND’s newest licenses from Sanrio, Gudetama – a lazy egg that loves to lay around and sigh – is making in-booth appearances throughout the three days for pictures. Attendees are encouraged to stop by to meet and snap a selfie with the Gudetama, whose name derives from the combination of the Japanese words “gude” or “lazy,” and “tama” from “tamago” or “egg.”
In addition to events happening throughout Toy Fair in the GUND booth, the Enesco booth #5302 will be holding a special signing with the artist Miss Mindy, the creator of the whimsical line of The World of Miss Mindy. She will be premiering her new line of vinyl characters. There will be a special giveaway, while supplies last, on Sunday from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m.
