Mand Labs to debut at the NYC Toy Fair 2018
Its flagship product, KIT-1, helps kids to build, create and hack electronics in less than 30 minutes

Phoenix, AZ, February 13, 2018: Mand Labs, a science and engineering learning startup, announces its debut at the NYC Toy Fair in February. During the four-day fair starting from February 17-20, Mand Labs hopes to attract children, DIY enthusiasts, makers, parents, students, educators and anyone interested to experience the magic of electrons and physics through demonstration of real world projects built using KIT-1.

Some of the interesting projects that will be on demo at the fair include: Controlling home lights using a clap, casino game lucky 7, IR security alarm system, temperature sensor, automatic night lamp among many others.

KIT-1 comes bundled with all requisite hardware and electronic components of industrial grade quality, two guide books, step-by-step building instructions and interactive learning videos required to build an array of 60+ projects, all packaged inside a box that opens up into a personalized vertical workstation.

Ideal for makers, educators and students alike, it is designed for anyone, even without the basic knowledge of electronics, to bring their ideas to life. Whether glowing the LED, beeping a buzzer or creating a burglar alarm, KIT-1 will allow you to physically play, understand and build things with a little imagination and creativity.

Gurpawan Mand, founder and CEO of Mand Labs, explains: “KIT-1 was designed to be used as a personalized makers’ lab. It provides all the tools, knowledge and intellect freedom to tinkerers who want to get started with building their own circuits. You use real world components to make real world projects and gain real world skills”.

“While you can quickly assemble any circuit on the breadboard using the step-by-step visual instructions, KIT-1 also allows you to build projects in less than 30 minutes. The instructions in the interactive videos and guide books empower you to self-learn at your own pace and enjoy the process of building circuits from start to finish. The instructions have been tested on 15,000 users worldwide in live hands-on workshops,” adds Mr. Mand.

You can catch Mand Labs in action at stall # 5959 at the New York Toy Fair, 2018.
