Creator, Denise Daniels, introduces new products to the revolutionary brand, providing additional advancements in the educational toy arena

NEW YORK, NY (February 12, 2016) – The MoodstersTM, a first-of-its-kind brand, created to educate, entertain, and enhance the social and emotional development of children, announced today it will be unveiling two new products at Toy Fair 2016 as an extension to the existing product line. Created by Denise Daniels, a Peabody award-winning broadcast journalist, author and child development and parenting expert, The Moodsters Feelings Notebook and Feelings Crayon Set and The Moodsters Talking Plush Characters & Activity Book Set will be introduced at Toy Fair on February 13th - 16th, 2016 at the Kids Preferred booth, #1679.

The Moodsters brand is in a class of its own at the forefront of creating a niche emotional intelligence and child development category for the toy marketplace. Denise Daniels, a pioneer and leader in child development and child psychology, created the innovative brand based on a lifetime of experience and significant accomplishments in the field. Denise’s experience traveling the globe and developing the innovative First Aid for Feelings
program for Pfizer Pediatrics, most notably used as part of the grief support program for children at Ground Zero after 9/11, proved essential in the creation of The Moodsters and the understanding of the critical need to help children develop emotionally.

The Moodsters Feelings Notebook and Feelings Crayon Set is a new creative tool to help kids express what they are feeling. This fun product includes five jumbo feelings crayons, one representing each emotion, and a Feelings Notebook for kids to draw and color their feelings (MSRP $14.99). The Moodsters Talking Plush Characters & Activity Book Set are based on the five lovable Moodsters detectives - Coz, Lolly, Quigly, Razzy, and Snorf - that each personify an emotion that all children experience in their everyday lives including happiness, anger, love, sadness and fear. Each plush character has fun and educational sayings specific to the emotions they represent (MSRP $19.99). These new products incorporate a curriculum based on decades of research on emotional intelligence.

The Moodsters original series of interactive products brought to market include The Moodster Mirror which helps kids recognize their own emotions as well as helps them identify non-verbal cues in others, The Moodster Meter helps children identify and express what they are feeling and The Feelings Flashlight is a bedtime toy that teaches kids simple strategies for expressing and managing their feelings; Each are accompanied by an educational storybook.
