elope, Inc. today announces new additions to their line of Bricky Blocks build-on accessories: sunglasses, wristbands, necklace pendants, and multi-colored building block sets. These new style choices for 2016 add brightly colored blocks, jewelry and eyewear to the initial selection of snapback caps, bow ties/hair bows, and neckties.
elope's Creative Development team created Bricky Blocks in response to two key consumer trends -- personalization and pixelated fashion. Bricky Blocks emerged from those product design sessions as a wearable platform for accessories that crossed over with the toy category because of its compatibility with most major brick building systems.
"Our retail partners loved the whimsy and streetwear-meets-toy box side of Bricky Blocks, but they challenged us to elaborate on the concept with more choices and convenient starter kits," said CEO Kevin Johnson.
"It's been a great direction for us to go!" laughed Johnson.
"Gift and apparel shoppers like the colors, the statement. Building toy enthusiasts like that they can wear their brick creations everywhere they go. It makes sense that kids get the toy concept right away, but adults tend to come at it from a novelty accessory angle, so we focused on creating gender-neutral, unisized options that appeal to a wide selection of people."
elope manufactures all Bricky Blocks products with phthalate-free plastic recommended for builders ages four and up.
New Bricky Blocks starter kits are available in mix-and-match fashion color assortments of 225 pieces or single color 1x1 100 piece packages.
The new build-on wristband and necklace pendant also retail at $4.95 each, and are available in basic black. Wristbands feature clear elastic for easy wear. Necklace pendants include 26 round jewel tone pieces, cotton cord with clasp, and detachable holder to convert any compatible block panel into a pendant.
Bricky Blocks sunglasses retail at $14.95 and will be available in standard colors: red, black, white and blue.
