Just Add __("More Fun")__ from Griddly Games

New York, NY - (January 8, 2016) - All of the new ingredients are set for Griddly Games (Booth #6123) to take off at 2016 American International Toy Fair, held at the Jacob Javits Convention Center in New York City, February 13-16. The product development lab at Griddly Games has been very busy getting ready to Just Add _______ (even more) items to the company's most successful product launch.

Last year, Griddly poured out a cool new entry into the STEM product category with its Just Add Milk science activity craft kit. The product was embraced by all of the science and craft curious attendees at Toy Fair and quickly became Griddly's most successful product launch. This year, the company is "add"-ing two more STEM style kits as well as a new family game, Rocket Lander.

Griddly Games is Just Adding Sun and Just Adding Glue to its line:

Just Add Sun (MSRP $25.98 for ages 5 and up) is a "hot" new solar oven that uses the sun's energy to heat up tasty treats. The product includes directions to melt s’mores, make nachos, or even cook an egg, among many other activities that all use the power of the sun. With the Just Add Sun Solar Science and Art Kit you can learn how solar energy works and eco-friendly energy alternatives. See how the energy of the sun can be used for heating and cooking, and experiment with light, heat transfer, reflection, and more! Griddly Games has even included ‘upcycle’ items to create fantastic art!

Just Add Glue (MSRP $16.95 for ages 6 and up) is the exciting new science activity kit that is sure to stretch the imagination! Use this cool new kit to create different forms of super stretchy polymers and make them bounce! By creating gluey gooey putties that can be picked up, stretched, and even rolled into a ball that bounces. Experimenting with the Just Add Glue kit let you mix separate batches of varying amounts of two main ingredients to witness the difference that consistencies can make. The product allows an underlying lesson about states of matter including liquids and polymers. It’s a basic introduction to chemistry and material engineering

The company's other new product is a family game called Rocket Lander (MSRP $26.95 for ages 7 and up). The new game that also lends itself to an ingredient of the STEM category is created by world-renowned game designer, Martin Nedergaard Andersen, who also designed Griddly Games' highly successful word game, Show Me The Kwan. Rocket Lander is a dice component game with an out of this world, explosive theme. Rocket Lander challenges players to strategically plot a graph and 3 dimensional axis.  The game topic travels through space and around the globe as players escort their ships, search and overtake opponents, and defend a home turf. Of course, the best strategy and a dash of luck decides who will be the undisputed Rocket Lander.

Reisa Schwartzman, founder and president of Griddly Games, said, “We are so excited about this year's Toy Fair.  We are 'add'-ing three new products, the most we've ever introduced at one time. Expanding off of our Just Add Milk science and craft activity kit, we developed two more activity products and a game that encourage engagement to children, boys and girls, about the fun and interest in science."

Just Add Sun, Just Add Glue, and Rocket Lander join Griddly Games' family of award winning products that include  Just Add Milk, Show Me The Kwan, Wise Alec™ board game, Wise Alec™ Junior, Wise Alec™ Expansion Packs (Body Works, Bright Ideas, Civilize This, Nature Nuts, and Sports Buffs), Oversight, Rainbows and Storms, Words of the Wise and Chronicles of the Mind, and the company’s Griddly Headz™ NASCAR®, Baseball and Hockey sports-themed games.
