February 22, 2020 – NEW YORK CITY – ERTL, the greatest die-cast replica brand ever, is celebrating its 75th anniversary and today, TOMY International, Inc. announced its line of vintage-inspired limited edition tractor replicas to celebrate the milestone. The line, which includes seven commemorative models, was revealed at Toy Fair New York.
Founded in the basement of a journeyman tool and die maker, the ERTL company has been the number one name in farm replicas since 1945. Adding to its collection of expertly crafted models, ERTL’s new line features:
“ERTL is such an iconic brand and we wanted to create a limited edition line for this milestone anniversary,” said TOMY Chief Brand & Commercial Officer Vinnie D’Alleva. “The original toy tractors featured a farmer on the seat, which we’ve replicated in our commemorative models, and the rest of the line highlights significant tractors throughout the decades.”
ERTL’s commemorative models are expected to launch in spring 2020 at OEM dealerships, online and in specialty retailers.
