NEW YORK, NORTH AMERICAN INTERNATIONAL TOY FAIR (February 16, 2019) – Originally one of the most successful games launched on Kickstarter, Unstable Unicorns receives the coveted People’s Choice Award at the 2019 Toy of The Year Awards.
Nearly two years after launching, Unstable Unicorns takes home the People’s Choice Award for 2019, gaining the most votes from fans and consumers. Unstable Unicorns is a strategic card game about everyone’s two favorite things: Destruction and Unicorns. Players win by collecting the most unicorns in their “Stable” – often by betraying everyone else at the table. Unstable Unicorns has built a large and loyal following since its successful launch on Kickstarter in 2017 – and is now available online and in retailers nation-wide.
“Every day, we work to design products that allow people to share meaningful experiences,” said CEO and Founder of TeeTurtle, Ramy Badie. “We strive to make games that are not only fun to play, but also help people express themselves and find a sense of belonging. Winning this People’s Choice Award is such an honor because it validates our purpose and inspires us to keep creating.”
Unstable Games, the newest brand from Denver-based TeeTurtle, has since launched more fun and imaginative tabletop games including SCRAM, Llamas Unleashed, Daring Contest and Exiled Legends. Unstable Unicorns and all of the latest games from TeeTurtle are featured at the 2019 New York Toy Fair and can be found at booth #6757.
