British headquartered toy innovation company Wow! Stuff has released the second in the series of Real FX toys under the Jurassic World and Jurassic Park franchise in collaboration with Universal Pictures and Amblin Entertainment, and it’s gone straight to the top of the charts at Walmart.
Wow! Stuff’s Real FX toys are designed under the brand’s remit to ‘Look Real. Feel Real. Sound Real.’ and are designed in collaboration with the world’s finest tier 1 licensed brands. Following a suite of nominations for its Real FX tech-based toys, Wow! Stuff has been dusting off the posh frocks and dinner jackets ready for a packed calendar of Awards events, the first of which stars its Jurassic Park Baby T.rex.
The announcement by the United States Toy Foundation, that Wow! Stuff’s Real FX Baby T.rex is a Toy of the Year Award (TOTY) Finalist was immediately followed by news that Walmart has also chosen it as one of their top toys for Christmas, naming it a ‘Blockbuster’. The results of the TOTY awards will be announced on 29th September in a glittering new ceremony and will join a clutch of other awards already in the pipeline for the brand.
Even though most awards program winners are yet to be announced, Wow! Stuff’s first big win of the season is a Gold from the UK’s Independent Toy Awards announced on 17th August with Real FX Baby T.rex gaining top slot in the Licensed toys Category.
The brand-new Real FX Jurassic Park Baby T.rex celebrates the 30th Anniversary since Jurassic Park hit the big screen and is a hyper-realistic animatronic baby dinosaur operated by the user via an authentic faux leather park ranger’s handling glove. Real FX T.rex has more than 35 actions, touch sensors and sound effects from the movie, combined with life-like intuitive movements.
