New Toy Trend & Consumer Research to be Unveiled at Toy Fair®

September 1, 2023 | Looking for an update on what’s trending in toys and play? Mark your calendars for The Toy Association’s “Toy Trends Briefing,” taking place Saturday, September 30 at 1 p.m. at Toy Fair®.

The Toy Association’s team of trends specialists will explore the evolution of its toy & play trend for 2023, supported by new data from a survey of U.S. parents conducted by Wakefield Research on behalf of The Toy Association™. The team will also offer a sneak peek at what’s to come in 2024.

Through the presentation, attendees will learn about areas of growth and opportunity in the marketplace and see product examples straight from the show floor that capture how these trends are taking shape for the holiday 2023 season and beyond. Companies that wish to be considered in The Toy Association’s trend coverage during the show and in 2024, are encouraged to reach out to The Toy Association to put their playthings on the team’s radar.

“Our team works year-round, meeting with companies, conducting research, and exploring parallel industries to stay on the pulse of emerging patterns in play and consumer preferences and shopping habits,” said Adrienne Appell, executive vice president of marketing communications at The Toy Association. “Our latest research offers new insights and data that back these much buzzed about trends, while also offering toy professionals new information to help best position their products, especially ahead of the Q4 selling season.”

The “Toy Trends Briefing” will take place at 1 p.m. in Hall 1E09 of the Javits Center.
