September 11, 2023 | Blue Plate Media Services (BPMS), in collaboration with Toy Fair® and The Toy Association™, will present its 14th Annual Blue Plate Media Lounge at Toy Fair, where it will host free educational sessions open to all Toy Fair exhibitors and attendees. Taking place on Monday, October 2, the programming is an opportunity to learn hands-on, insider tips from toy industry media executives about strategic media planning, media trends, challenges, and tips on how to talk to today’s kids in the metaverse, while also offering a retreat from the hustle and bustle of the show floor.

The Trends, Tools & Tactics To Win At Kids Media (10 - 11 a.m.)
Presented by BPMS’s David Becker, president, and Tim Jones, senior media director, this session will offer tips on how to build a more effective media plan while navigating the children’s media marketplace and the importance of the media mix (how to maximize the multi-channel multiplier). The BPMS leadership team will present trends, facts, and media plan executions that will better your bottom line.
How to Talk to Kids Today: Navigating Children’s Brand Experiences, Innovation & Responsibility in the Metaverse (12 – 1 p.m.)
In this fireside chat with Dona Fraser, senior vice president of privacy initiatives at BBB national programs & lead at CARU (Children’s Advertising Review Unit), attendees will gain guidance and best practices for online advertising, privacy, and child safety in the metaverse.
Media Expert’s Table (2 – 4 p.m.)
Pull up a chair for a one-on-one with BPMS media industry experts on today’s relevant media platforms that matter most in regards to advertising.
Show attendees should register in advance to attend the sessions. The Blue Plate Media Lounge will be open from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. in Room 1D05. The lounge is open to all show attendees but specifically beneficial to toy marketers, marketing directors, media directors, and other media professionals tasked with the responsibility of advertising toy products to the consumer.
